The vision

Expanding without disruption.

They secured additional office space to support new hires and needed it to feel like a seamless extension of their current operations functional, cohesive, and aligned with a more open, modern direction.

Discovery & strategy

Planning around what already worked.

Our process began with understanding how their current office functioned and how the expanded space would support additional staff. Because they planned to relocate select furniture pieces from their existing office, careful evaluation and planning were essential to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.

We worked closely with their team to:

  • Align the new layout with their existing workspace standards, maintaining consistency in workstation sizing and configuration.
  • Identify which desks and components would be reused and ensure they integrated seamlessly with new elements.
  • Plan for growth while maximizing available square footage to support both current needs and future expansion.

Design & layout planning

More open, without losing familiarity.

Space limitations required careful planning and creative problem-solving. The layout needed to accommodate relocated workstations alongside new installations while keeping workflow efficient.

We designed a cubicle configuration that made the most of the available footprint without sacrificing comfort or circulation. The plan balanced private work areas with open spaces that encourage collaboration and movement throughout the office.

The updated layout introduced a more modern, open concept, improving visibility and interaction compared to the previous setup. Every choice was made to maintain familiarity for employees while subtly enhancing the overall look and functionality of the space.

What we helped design & furnish

Every space, one cohesive look.

We provided furniture solutions for every key workspace, ensuring the new expansion felt cohesive, functional, and aligned with Rycon’s existing office environment while introducing a more refined and modern look.

  • Conference Rooms – Conference tables designed to support team meetings, project coordination, and client discussions, providing ample surface space and a professional setting for strategic conversations and decision-making.
  • Private Offices – Thoughtfully configured workspaces that balance privacy with consistency across the overall layout, allowing team members to focus while maintaining alignment with the open, modern aesthetic of the expansion.
  • Collaboration Spaces– Dedicated tables positioned to encourage teamwork, informal discussions, and quick touchpoints between departments, creating flexible areas that support both scheduled and impromptu collaboration.
  • Cubicle Area –  Workstations enhanced with glass and laminate inserts to introduce a more open, modern feel while maintaining structure and organization.

The addition of glass and laminate elements elevated the overall aesthetic, giving the space a cleaner and more contemporary look while preserving the functionality Rycon required.

The installation

Three phases around a working office.

Like most office expansions, there were several moving parts to coordinate. We structured the installation in three phases to align with the client’s schedule and minimize disruption to daily operations, maintaining flexibility throughout the process.

Our team handled every part of the installation, including:

  • Preparing and staging materials in advance to support phased delivery
  • Following the approved layout while adapting to space limitations
  • Retrofitting relocated desks to integrate seamlessly into the new footprint
  • Making on-site adjustments and performing quality checks throughout each phase
  • Coordinating after-hours work to accommodate the client’s timeline
